Covid-19 protocol For patients

To ensure safety, patients must bring and wear their own mask and a clean change of clothes for treatment. Patients must wash their hands for 20 seconds with soap and or use hand sanitizer before entering the clinic room.

Patients will not be eligible for treatment if they have experienced the following

  • Having travelled and not self-isolating for 14 days before their appointment

  • Experiencing flu like symptoms (coughing, fever, loss of taste or smell)

  • Been in contact with someone that tested positive for covid-19

For patients in the health care industry, appointments can still be available to you, however further in-depth protective steps must be taken.

Children under the age of 2 will not be required to wear a mask.

Please understand that patients that are over the age of 70 and those with pre-existing conditions such as, immunosuppressed, diabetic, hypertension, etc… are at a higher risk of infection, however, still eligible for treatment.

Covid-19 protocol for Osteopathic practitioner

The osteopathic practitioner will be wearing a mask as well as a treatment clothes and a protective coat that will be changed after each patient. Extensive washing of hands with soap and or hand sanitizer before and after treatments. Protective eye wear and gloves will be worn when necessary.

Covid-19 protocol for Clinic

Additional disinfectants have been purchased to help keep the clinic space safe. These include disposable table sheets (they will be thrown away after a singular use), disinfectant wipes to clean the table (PREempt Surface Disinfectant), vinyl pillow cases will be used to aid in the cleaning and disinfecting process. The door knobs, desk surface and chairs will also be disinfected between each appointment.

Due to the extensive cleaning regime in place, the schedule will be highly limited in availability, as well as to space each appointment so that there is no other contact with other patients as well as allowing appropriate time for cleaning.


What to wear?

Comfortable clothing, something you can easily move in (example: yoga pants, jogging pants, t-shirt, tank top)

What not to wear?

No jeans / No bulky sweaters / No jewelry
